OUTREACH: Transportation Outreach Meeting - TIP/UPWP
As part of the annual transportation planning process, the Cape Cod Commission is holding a virtual public meeting to inform the public about and gather comments on the Draft Unified Planning Work Program (UPWP) and the Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) documents.
The UPWP describes all significant transportation planning activities planned on Cape Cod over the twelve (12) month period from October 2026 through September 2027. The TIP serves as a prioritized listing of roadway, multimodal, and transit projects that will be receiving federal funding towards implementation during the next five (5) federal fiscal year period of 2027 through 2031.
The Cape Cod Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) is expected to release the draft TIP and UPWP documents on April 27, 2026 for a 14-day public comment period. Comments are due by May 11, 2026. Further information can be found by visiting capecodcommission.org/mpo.
