FROM THE WEST - SAGAMORE BRIDGE, ROUTE 6:

  • Travel eastbound across the Sagamore Bridge onto Route 6 (also called the Mid-Cape Highway).
  • After about 12.6 miles, take EXIT 6 - ROUTE 132 - BARNSTABLE/HYANNIS.
  • At the bottom of the exit ramp, turn LEFT (north) onto Route 132 (also called Iyannough Road)  toward Barnstable. Travel 0.7 miles to the intersection of Route 132 and Route 6A.
  • Bear RIGHT onto Route 6A, heading east toward Barnstable.
  • Travel about 2.4 miles along Route 6A, which turns into Main Street at you enter Barnstable village.
  • Pass a large stone building (the Barnstable Superior Court House) on the hill on the RIGHT.
  • The Cape Cod Commission offices are on the RIGHT, three buildings past the court house and directly across the street from the Post Office, in a yellow-fronted Colonial-style two-story building at 3225 Main Street in Barnstable Village.
  • Park along the street in front of the building, or continue traveling three buildings past the Commission office. Turn RIGHT just past the Barnstable Fire Department, into the Barnstable County Complex parking lot behind the Commission office building.

FROM THE EAST - ROUTE 6, EXIT 7:

  • Travel westbound along Route 6. Take EXIT 7 - WILLOW STREET - YARMOUTH.
  • At the bottom of the exit ramp, take a RIGHT (north) on Willow Street.
  • Travel about 0.8 miles, cross the railroad tracks, and turn LEFT onto Cross Street, which becomes Railroad Avenue.
  • At the end of Railroad Avenue, turn LEFT (west) onto Route 6A.
  • Travel about 2.4 miles. Route 6A turns into Main Street as you enter Barnstable village. There will be one traffic signal at the intersection of Route 6A/Main Street and Phinney's Lane, just before you enter the village. Continue through the intersection.
  • The Cape Cod Commission offices are on the LEFT, directly across the street from the Post Office, in a yellow-fronted Colonial-style two-story building at 3225 Main Street in Barnstable village.
  • Park along the street in front of the building, or continue traveling past the Commission office. Turn LEFT into the Barnstable County Complex parking lot near the large stone building (the Barnstable Superior Court House) on the hill.
