- Federal Fiscal Years (October 1 – September 30) 2026-2030 Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) Adjustment 1: Staff will describe the draft 2026-2030 TIP Adjustment # 1, which would adjust the funding year for the Cape Cod Gateway Airport SMART microgrid grant and the Town of Barnstable Safe Streets for All planning grant while also adjusting the funding amounts for the Bourne Scenic Highway Median project, the Barnstable Route 6 Resurfacing project, and the Mashpee Route 151 Corridor Phase 2 project based on the latest funding information. Committee members may vote to recommend the Cape Cod Metropolitan Planning Organization endorse draft TIP Adjustment # 1.
- Claire Saltonstall Bike Route Wayfinding Project: Massachusetts Department of Transportation (MassDOT) staff and their consultant will present on the Claire Saltonstall Bike Route wayfinding signage project that proposes the installation of new bicycle wayfinding signage on the route that connects Boston to Provincetown.
- Vision 88: Staff will present a status update on Vision 88, the region’s long-range vision for an 88-mile off-road trail system for bicycles and pedestrians connecting Woods Hole and Provincetown, including the status of trail segments in design and conceptual planning.
- Regional Bicycle Rack Inventory: Staff will present an overview of the recently completed Regional Bicycle Rack Inventory project, including an online viewer that displays the locations of publicly-owned bicycle racks.
- Transportation Management Association: Staff will provide an update on the effort to establish a Cape Cod Transportation Management Association, a public-private partnership dedicated to improving shared, sustainable transportation options for businesses and employees.
- Reports: MassDOT staff will review the status of Transportation Improvement Program projects that are under construction or planned in the next five years. Cape Cod Regional Transit Authority staff will report on the status of current and future projects and initiatives to improve public transportation services on Cape Cod. Cape Cod Commission staff will report on upcoming public meetings and available state and federal grants.
