Federal Fiscal Years (October 1 – September 30) 2026-2030 Transportation Improvement Program (“TIP”) Development TIP Amendment 1: Staff will review, and Committee members will consider public comments on and may vote to endorse, TIP Amendment 1, which would add additional funding for the Harwich Elementary Safe Routes to School project (#610670) to match updated design cost estimates.
6. Transportation Management Association: Staff will provide an update on the effort to establish a Cape Cod Transportation Management Association, a public-private partnership dedicated to improving shared, sustainable transportation options for businesses and employees.
7. Massachusetts Department of Transportation (MassDOT) Construction Project Updates: MassDOT District 5 staff will provide an update on the current status of Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) projects that are under construction in the Cape Cod region.
8. Reports: MassDOT staff will discuss the status of the Transportation Improvement Program projects that are planned in the next five years. Cape Cod Regional Transit Authority staff will report on the status of current and future projects and initiatives to improve public transportation services on Cape Cod. Cape Cod Commission staff will report on upcoming public meetings and available grants including MassDOT Community grants and the MassTrails grant.
