Federal Fiscal Year 2021 (October 1, 2020 – September 30, 2021) Unified Planning Work Program (“UPWP”) Development: Staff will review tasks and studies for the 2021 UPWP and the Cape Cod Joint Transportation Committee (“Committee”) may vote on a list of tasks and studies recommended for inclusion in the 2021 UPWP.

Federal Fiscal Years (October 1 – September 30) 2020-2024 Transportation Improvement Program (“TIP”) Amendment #3:Staff will describe, and the Committee may vote to recommend that the Cape Cod Metropolitan Planning Organization release for public comment draft Amendment #3 which would adjust funding in the TIP for the Bourne Belmont Circle Traffic and Multi-modal Improvement project and the Orleans Stormwater Improvements along Route 28 project. 
  7. TIP Project Updates:Massachusetts Department of Transportation (“MassDOT”) staff will provide updates on the status of 2020-2024 and potential future TIP projects.
  8. West Dennis Route 28 Project:Town of Dennis staffwill describe the West Dennis Route 28 project, a corridor project that would improve multi-modal accommodation on Route 28 in Dennis from Uncle Barneys Road to Old Main Street. This project is eligible for funding in the 2021-2025 TIP.
  9. Federal Fiscal Years (October 1 – September 30) 2021-2025 TIP Development:Staff will discuss the cost and readiness of projects across Cape Cod that are eligible to be funded through the TIP and the Committee may vote on a list of projects recommended for inclusion in the 2021-2025 TIP.
  10. Road Safety Audit Location Selection:Staff will describe, and the Committee may vote to select, locations on Cape Cod for future Road Safety Audits based on review of recent crash trends.
  11. Traffic Counting:Staff will review traffic counting capacities and solicit count requests from the Cape towns for the summer 2020 traffic counting season.
  12. Cape Cod Bicycle Rack Program:Staff will announce details of the 2020 Cape Cod Bicycle Rack Program, a program that covers the purchase of bicycle racks and other bicycle infrastructure for municipalities and other eligible entities on Cape Cod.
  13. Reports: MassDOT, Cape Cod Regional Transit Authority, and Cape Cod Commission staff will report on recent and upcoming transportation initiatives across Cape Cod.
  14. New Business: Topics not reasonably anticipated by the Chair more than 48 hours before the meeting.
  15. Adjourn
