AGENDA: Cape Cod Joint Transportation Committee

Note: The meeting will be held virtually, with members of the Cape Cod Joint Transportation Committee participating remotely, pursuant to Chapter 20 of the Acts of 2021, An Act Relative to Extending Certain Covid-19 Measures Adopted During the State of Emergency, signed into law on June 16, 2021.

  5. Cape Cod Joint Transportation Committee Selection of Officers: The Cape Cod Joint Transportation Committee may vote whether to accept the slate of officers to the Committee nominated at the May 14, 2021 meeting, Tom Temple for Chairman and Rich Waldo for Vice-Chairman, for the term through June 30, 2022.
  6. Managed Retreat: Cape Cod Commission staff will present a Managed Retreat Story Map, an online tool intended to highlight the vulnerability of low-lying roads, provide adaptation strategies and case studies, and facilitate conversations around coastal resiliency for towns on Cape Cod.
  7. Pavement Management: Cape Cod Commission staff will provide an update on regional pavement condition data collection contained within an online Pavement Management Dashboard.
  8. Bicycle Planning Updates: Cape Cod Commission staff will present highlights of Bike Month activities across Cape Cod and provide an update on regional coordination efforts with local bicycle committees.
  9. Reports: Massachusetts Department of Transportation staff will discuss the status of the Transportation Improvement Program projects. Cape Cod Regional Transit Authority and Cape Cod Commission staff will report on recent and upcoming transportation initiatives across Cape Cod.
  10. New Business: Topics not reasonably anticipated by the Chair more than 48 hours before the meeting.
