HEARING: Cape Cod Commission

CAPE COD COMMISSION

The Cape Cod Commission will hold a virtual public hearing on Thursday, December 4, 2025 at 3:00 p.m. At this hearing, the Cape Cod Commission will take testimony and consider public comments received during the public comment period on the Draft Technical Bulletins to the 2025 Draft Regional Policy Plan (“RPP”) for the 15 corresponding goals in the RPP in the issue areas of Capital Facilities and Infrastructure, Climate Change, Coastal Resiliency, Community Design, Cultural Heritage, Economy, Energy, Housing, Ocean Resources, Open Space, Transportation, Waste Management, Water Resources, Wetlands, and Wildlife and Plant Habitat. The primary application of the Technical Bulletins is during Development of Regional Impact Review, and its primary purpose is to assist the Commission in its determination of whether a project is consistent with the goals and objectives set out in the draft 2025 Regional Policy Plan. The Cape Cod Commission may vote at the hearing whether to adopt the Technical Bulletins to the 2025 Regional Policy Plan in the 15 issue areas listed herein and repeal the Technical Bulletins to the 2019 Regional Policy Plan to be effective when the 2025 Regional Policy Plan is effective.

Note: The hearing will be held virtually, pursuant to Chapter 20 of the Acts of 2021, as amended by Chapter 2 of the Acts of 2025

Box 226, 3225 Main St. Barnstable, MA 02630 or online using the form located at https://capecodcommission.org/comment. The draft Technical Bulletins and draft 2025 Regional Policy Plan are available at https://www.capecodcommission.org/rpp-update and are also available for public inspection at the Commission’s office during normal business hours.
