3. Bridge to Blue Build Back Better Grant Proposal: Cape Cod Commission (Commission) staff will review a grant application to the US Economic Development Administration (US EDA) Build Back Better grant program proposed by the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution and its partners to support the blue economy on Cape Cod and in southeastern Massachusetts. Council members may vote whether to authorize the chair to sign a letter of support for the project.
4. Cybersecurity and Broadband Build Back Better Grant Proposal: Commission staff and Metropolitan Area Planning Council (MAPC) staff will facilitate a discussion on cybersecurity and broadband challenges in the region in support of a Build Back Better grant proposal by MAPC and its partners. MAPC staff and Commission staff will summarize the proposal and Council members may vote whether to authorize the chair to sign a letter of support for the project.
5. Proposed Adjustment to Town of Harwich License Plate Grant Award: Commission staff will present a proposed adjustment to the license plate grant awarded in Fiscal Year 2022 to the Town of Harwich for installation of bike path safety improvement equipment.
6. Cape Cod Commission Executive Director Update: Kristy Senatori will report on recent staff activities.
7. Member Reports: Council members will report on any recent economic development activities, including but not limited to economic development issues related to the COVID-19 pandemic.
8. New Business: Topics not reasonably anticipated by the Chair more than 48 hours before the meeting.
