Plenary and breakout sessions on both days of OneCape 2023 highlighted efforts to consider equity and diversity in the planning process and in crafting and implementing strategies to address our region's critical challenges.
Senator Ed Markey took the OneCape stage on Monday, July 31 to share his perspective on a slew of "opportunities disguised as challenges" across the region. Markey was optimistic and enthusiastic as he outlined a list of billions of dollars in federal funding available to help address regional challenges like climate change, infrastructure, water quality issues, and the housing crisis.
