Cape Cod Commission to Host 9th Annual OneCape Summit

Registration now open for July 31 and August 1 event

The ninth annual OneCape Summit, hosted by the Cape Cod Commission, will be held July 31 and August 1, 2023 at the Wequassett Resort in Harwich, MA.

The OneCape Summit is a regional forum for information, collaboration, and innovation across the major policy issues and areas impacting Cape Cod. The Summit brings together local and national leaders, practitioners, and subject matter experts to inspire informed action on the most pressing challenges related to Cape Cod’s unique environment and economy. The 2023 Summit will feature plenary sessions, breakout sessions, mobile workshops, and opportunities for connecting and collaborating.

Over the course of two days, attendees will hear about forward-looking, action-oriented initiatives and learn from peers from across the region and the country advancing strategies to address housing affordability, water quality, and climate-related challenges, while supporting sustained and equitable economic opportunities.

“We look forward to engaging with stakeholders from across the Cape at this year’s OneCape Summit,” said Cape Cod Commission Executive Director Kristy Senatori. “The conference provides an opportunity for those working to address our regional challenges to gather together, learn about new and proven strategies and successes, and partner on solutions to promote a strong and vibrant Cape Cod.”

The event welcomes local, state, and national speakers and typically draws over 300 attendees.

Environmental Protection Agency Region 1 Administrator Dr. David Cash will present as a keynote speaker on Monday, July 31st. Dr. Cash has extensive experience advancing climate action and water quality strategies and developing innovative and transformative clean energy and environmental justice policies. Keynote speakers also include Massachusetts Energy and Environmental Affairs Secretary Rebecca Tepper, Massachusetts Housing and Livable Communities Secretary Edward Augustus, Principal/Founder of BuildingBOS and Mainvest Vice President Jonathan Berk, and Vail Housing Director George Ruther. Additional speakers will be announced soon.
