Mass511 app provides real-time traffic updates for the region 

It’s been taking significantly longer than normal to travel on- and off-Cape due to ongoing maintenance work on the Sagamore bridge. On April 24, the Army Corps of Engineers announced that the final phase of maintenance work is underway.  

Real-time traffic information is available on the Cape Cod Commission’s website. Visit www.capecodcommission.org/our-work/real-time-traffic to find links to real-time traffic information and advisories for major roads in the region. The Commission’s traffic page also offers updates on major road work projects, such as the Sagamore Bridge maintenance project and ongoing work to Route 151 in Mashpee  

On that page, you can find details about Mass511, a free traveler information service that provides live traffic reports, commuter service information, and personalization in the Massachusetts. Incidents, road closures, construction, lane closures, real-time live traffic cameras, weather alerts/forecasts, travel times and traffic speeds can all be viewed on an interactive live traffic map.
