2007 Regional Transportation Plan

The Cape Cod Commission Act charges the Commission with furthering and coordinating the provision of "adequate capital facilities," including transportation services. Through the goals and standards specified in the Regional Policy Plan, the Commission:

• works to develop short- and long-range transportation plans to fill present and future year-round and seasonal needs
• performs traffic counts and updates safety data
• studies proposed improvements, and
• reviews major developments for their impacts on transportation and traffic.
