2005 Cape Cod Residents Survey

Released April 4, 2006

The Cape Cod Commission has released the results of the 2005 Cape Cod Residents Survey, a mail study soliciting the views of residents about important local issues.

Last fall, the Commission contracted with The Center for Survey Research (CSR) at the University of Massachusetts Boston to conduct the study to help Barnstable County shape the next revision of the Cape Cod Regional Policy Plan. Residents were asked about the problems they see and anticipate in their towns and on the Cape as a whole, how the Cape should manage development, and what the priorities and tradeoffs should be between development and the protection of natural resources, among other issues.

The final report on the 2005 Cape Cod Residents Survey is available here as a PDF file.
