  The Pegasus Foundation and the International Wildlife Coalition's Animal Care Project, together with Project Impact, are funding a Coordinator to address the animal component of disasters by creating an animal disaster-response plan and to raise public awareness of the needs of animals and their owners before and during a disaster event.
