This section offers brief descriptions of Land Bank acquisitions in several Cape Cod towns. The highlights, suggested by local Land Bank committee members to Barnstable County's AmeriCorps-Cape Cod members working with the Cape Cod Commission in 2001 and 2002, describe not only acquisitions made for the parcels' aesthetic and natural resources attributes, but also several that involved challenging or complex negotiations.
