CAPE COD COMMISSION

DEVELOPMENT OF REGIONAL IMPACT

Canal Street Crossing (CCC File No. 19007)

July 11, 2019

The Cape Cod Commission will hold a public hearing on Thursday, July 11, 2019 at 3:00 p.m. at East Wing Conference Room, Barnstable County Complex, 3195 Main Street, Barnstable, MA 02630This is a continued hearing from Tuesday, July 2, 2019. The following project has been referred to the Cape Cod Commission as a mandatory Development of Regional Impact (DRI) pursuant to Section 3 of the Cape Cod Commission’s Enabling Regulations Governing Review of Developments of Regional Impact.  This project is being reviewed and considered for DRI approval.  This notice is being published pursuant to Section 5 of the Cape Cod Commission Act.

  • Project: Canal Street Crossing
  • Project Applicant: 21 Hunters Brook Road, Inc.
  • Project Site/Location: 21 Hunters Brook Road/Canal Street, Sagamore Beach, MA  (Map 11, Pacel 27)
  • Project Description: Proposed mixed-use development of the site with a medical office building, continued care facility, age-restricted residential housing units, and associated site improvements.

Anyone wishing to testify orally will be welcome to do so.  Written comments may also be submitted at the hearing, or delivered or mailed to the Cape Cod Commission, P.O. Box 226, 3225 Main Street, Barnstable, MA 02630 for receipt on or before the date of the hearing and until the hearing on the Project is closed.  Project plans and other relevant documents are available for the public to review at: http://www.capecodcommission.org/meetingnotices and are also available at the Cape Cod Commission office between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.  For further information or to schedule an appointment, please contact the Commission office at (508) 362-3828.
