    1. Review of March 7, 2018 meeting of the Cape Cod Water Protection Collaborative Monitoring Subcommittee
      Cape Cod Commission staff will review and discuss with the members the discussion from meeting 1 of the Cape Cod Water Protection Collaborative Monitoring Subcommittee held on March 7, 2018.  
       
    2. Overview of proposed future work on the regional water quality monitoring database
      Cape Cod Commission staff will provide a brief overview of proposed work on the regional water quality monitoring database and its potential use in the future, as context for today’s agenda item discussion on the extent and significance of sample redundancy.  
       
    3. Discussion on extent and significance of sample redundancy
      Subcommittee members, Cape Cod Commission staff and monitoring organizations will discuss the extent and significance of marine water sampling locations on Cape Cod where there is more than one water sample taken at the same time.  This will include a discussion on the significance of sentinel stations versus other sample collection stations.  Participants will discuss responsibilities for regional water quality monitoring and local water quality monitoring and the need to maintain a consistent and long-term data set for sentinel stations and other sample collection stations.
