Cape Cod Commission Staffing Update: Cape Cod Commission staff will discuss staffing changes at the Cape Cod Commission and detail new roles and responsibilities for staff members serving as staff to the Cape Cod Metropolitan Planning Organization. — Kristy Senatori, Cape Cod Commission Acting Executive Director

Federal Fiscal Year 2019 Unified Planning Work Program (UPWP) Development: The UPWP is a list of transportation planning projects scheduled for funding and implementation as outlined in the Federal Fiscal Year (FFY) 2019 (October 1, 2018 to September 30, 2019) UPWP document. Cape Cod Commission staff will give a presentation outlining potential planning projects to be included in the UPWP. The Cape Cod Metropolitan Planning Organization will discuss the proposed UPWP, which may be found on the MPO webpage at www.capecodcommission.org/ccmpo/meetingnotices, and may vote whether to release for public comment a list of transportation planning projects scheduled for funding and implementation as outlined in the Federal Fiscal Year 2019 UPWP. — Lev Malakhoff, Cape Cod Commission Senior Transportation Engineer

Federal Fiscal Years 2018-2022 Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) Amendment #3: The Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) is a recommended list of transportation projects to be advertised and eventually constructed using Massachusetts Department of Transportation (“MassDOT”), Federal Highway and Federal Transit Administration funding. Cape Cod Commission staff will describe draft Amendment #3 to the 2018-2022 Transportation Improvement Program and present any comments received during the public comment period. Draft Amendment #3 proposes to adjust funding to and move the Truro Route 6 bicycle accommodation project from FFY2019 to FFY 2020 as wells as adjust project funding to the Route 28 at Osterville-West Barnstable Road project in Barnstable. The Cape Cod Metropolitan Planning Organization will discuss and may vote to endorse the Amended 2018-2022 TIP which may be found on the MPO webpage at www.capecodcommission.org/ccmpo/meetingnotices. — Steven Tupper, Cape Cod Commission Transportation Planner

Massachusetts Department of Transportation Update: The Massachusetts Department of Transportation (MassDOT) staff will discuss with members the status of the Transportation Improvement Program projects currently in the planning process including the Federal Fiscal Years 2019-2023 Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) projects. The TIP is a recommended list of transportation projects to be advertised and eventually constructed using MassDOT, Federal Highway Administration and/or Federal Transit Administration funding. The Cape Cod Metropolitan Planning Organization members may ask questions and discuss the Federal Fiscal Years 2019-2023 Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) projects. — Pamela Haznar Massachusetts Department of Transportation Project Development Engineer

Federal Fiscal Years 2019-2023 Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) Development: The TIP is a recommended list of transportation projects to be advertised and eventually constructed using Massachusetts Department of Transportation, Federal Highway Administration and Federal Transit Administration funding for Federal Fiscal Years 2019 to 2023 (October 1, 2018 to September 30, 2023). Cape Cod Commission staff will give a presentation explaining the process of developing the TIP and discuss potential project for inclusion in the TIP. Reports: Cape Cod Metropolitan Planning Organization members may request future Cape Cod Metropolitan Planning Organization agenda items. Cape Cod Regional Transit Authority and Cape Cod Commission staff will report on recent and upcoming transportation activities.
